「We are incredibly grateful to the team at the Animal Neurology Center for the exceptional care they provided to my dog, Dottie. When she needed urgent neurological care, they made time to see us on a Friday evening, even while they were hosting a continuing education event. That level of dedication and compassion meant the world to our family. From the moment we arrived, everyone treated Dottie—and I—with kindness, professionalism, and genuine concern. The resident neurologist, Dr. Healy, took the time to thoroughly explain her condition, answer all of my questions, and make sure I understood the treatment plan. I never felt rushed, despite how busy they clearly were. Thanks to their expertise and thoughtful care, Dottie's symptoms have subsided, and we're on the right track with her treatment plan. The expertise, patience, and heartfelt care shown by the entire team gave us comfort during a very stressful time and confidence that she was receiving the best possible care. We can't thank the ANC, Dr. Wininger, & Dr. Healy enough for going above and beyond for Dottie. 「We were referred to ANC last week for our sweet boy Teddy due to a suspected slipped or ruptured disc. Unfortunately an MRI turned our world upside down with an an unexpected finding and we said goodbye to our sweet boy that night. The entire staff at ANC were beyond incredible, if we would give them 10 stars we would. They grieved with us and gave us all the time we needed but also walked through the MRI results with us, providing all information and insight and confirmed that we made the right decision. They gave us ink prints of his paws and nose and a little dog filled with his fur. We are so grateful for our experience with them, despite the circumstances. Thank you so much to everyone there. I hope we never have to go back there, but if we do ever need a neurologist they will be the first place I call. We can't recommend them enough.」

「Our 8-year-old dog had recently been having uncharacteristic symptoms of lethargy, difficulty standing, and hardly any appetite. We had been to our vet and an emergency clinic, but we were unable to get a diagnosis of what was wrong. Dr. Wininger and the staff of the ANC really take time to meet with you to understand the symptoms and evaluate your dog, prior to recommending testing. They are truly compassionate and skilled in their work. While we were devastated by the results of an MRI showing very advanced brain tumors, the compassion we received and the care our dog received while at the ANC were top notch. The facility itself is also wonderful and clean. I cannot recommend this place enough. To Dr. Wininger and the nurses and staff at ANC, thank you is not enough. You are all truly wonderful. We are so grateful.」

「We recently took our 7 year old lab to Animal Neurology for a suspected disc issue. The care was excellent. The facility is designed to keep dogs and their humans comfortable throughout the diagnostic phase and beyond. Hazel is home and recovering nicely. When she went for her follow up visit she was excited to see the staff. I highly recommend this clinic. Here she is waiting for someone to come see her!」

「I truly can’t recommend and thank every Staff member and Doctors at ANU enough. An injury to our guy Reilly (5 years old) took us to Mizzou for an MRI. We ended up being referred to ANU for a disc compressing his spinal cord where he was scheduled for surgery. When we got there and went to a room you truly feel a sense of calm. The Doctor answered every question and explained everything in a way that didn’t feel overwhelming. When we got the called he did well in surgery I was immediately in tears that this surgeon and staff gave my handsome guy relief from pain and the chance at full recovery. When I picked him up the next day the improvement minus some sassy attitude was immediate. We are now 4 weeks out and he is almost fully back to his sweet boy self. I could go on and on but at the end of the day should any of my pets ever need this specific specialist again will only come here to ANU. They will always be who I recommend. When I tell anyone about what we went through I make sure they know that all the Staff and Doctors at ANU are the reason Reilly is recovering and healing better than I could have imagined. Thank you all so much for the gift you guys gave us by giving our boy his quality of life back.」
