「It’s never easy saying goodbye to a loved one, but UrgentVet Kennesaw and Dr Gurney really did a good job. It was my boy Obi’s time, after 13.5 years, a compassionate decision I was at peace with. I reserved a time later in the evening which fit my schedules, explained what I wanted to do and why, and had full support and understanding by the staff. The euthanasia was quick, painless, calm, and peaceful. It’s a tremendously difficult experience but I commend their staff for handling it extremely well. My Obi isn’t in pain anymore. I chose this clinic over my regular vet because their schedules were better suited to mine, so it was convenient and easy. They made the best of a difficult situation. Thanks team.」

「This was our first time and was wonderful experience. I highly recommend Urgent Vet and their staff. We were greeted as soon as we arrived, were immediately put in a room, and they explained everything to me in detail on what they were doing and what the cost would be upfront. While we waited, they constantly came in to check on us and even asked if i would like a water or needs anything. They listened to my concerns in depth. The facility was so clean and it smelled absolutely amazing! I keep telling everyone what wonderful experience it was in such a stressful time. They even called today to check on my baby.」

「I would not recommend this urgent care. I picked up my dog from the groomer and was told he had vomited during grooming. When we got home, his balance was off, he was lethargic and shaking, so I brought him here for urgent care with an appointment. Despite having an appointment, we waited over an hour and a half. I understand emergencies happen (they mentioned euthanasia cases), but during that time my dog was visibly unwell, and no one checked on him beyond briefly taking vitals. When the vet finally came in, the interaction felt rushed and dismissive. There was little concern shown for his condition, just a quick mention that it might be pancreatitis, followed by someone coming in to discuss pricing. No labs were run initially, no effort was made to make him comfortable, and no real guidance was provided while he was clearly struggling. What stood out most was the focus on cost over care. The $135 exam fee does not go toward any treatment, and the options presented ranged from $500 to $1,500+ with no clear direction or urgency behind them. It felt like decisions were being driven more by pricing than by my dog’s immediate needs. At no point did I feel like my pet’s comfort or well-being was a priority. If your pet is in distress and you’re looking for compassionate, attentive care, I would strongly suggest going elsewhere. This experience felt more like a billing process than an urgent care visit and that’s not what you expect when your pet is sick and you’re worried.」

「Amazing and kind staff! My boy had a ripped toenail and was in a lot of pain. We were walk ins (after 8 PM) so very aware we may have a little wait to work us in. Sharmila came into our room several times to check on us and apologize for the wait. Dr. Johnson and staff were so caring and took time to listen to all my questions and explain the needed continued care at home. Would definitely recommend! Thank you, guys!」

「I cannot say enough good things about this emergency veterinary clinic. We had to bring our dog in unexpectedly when she wasn't feeling well, and from the moment we walked through the door, everyone was incredibly kind, compassionate, and professional. The entire staff kept us informed every step of the way, regularly checking on us and providing updates about our dog's condition. The communication was excellent, and we always felt like we knew exactly what was happening. Bill did a fantastic job taking care of us, and Dr. Caryn was absolutely wonderful. She explained everything clearly, answered all of our questions, and provided a thorough breakdown of treatment options and pricing. We never felt pressured, and we truly appreciated the honesty and transparency. The clinic itself was very clean and welcoming, and every single team member from the receptionist who greeted us at the door to the technicians and doctors treated both us and our dog with genuine kindness and respect. It was obvious that they truly care about their patients and their families. While nobody wants to need an emergency vet, we're incredibly grateful for the outstanding care we received. Thank you all for taking such wonderful care of our little one. We highly recommend this clinic to anyone who needs compassionate, professional veterinary care.」

「We recently rescued a baby kitten that was left at my brothers shop, two and half weeks later she started decline really fast so we rush in. She stopped breathing two minutes before we got there but I ran in anyways and the sweetest angel wearing a Taylor swift crew neck took her from me after seeing me rushing to yank on the door. She let me sit with her, told me we made the right decision, let me talk about the baby, got her paw prints twice bc she was so small it made it difficult, and gave us the most precious biodegradable bag we got to bury her in. I can’t thank her enough for helping me and being so kind, caring, and empathetic.」

「I cam in at 9 pm with out an appt as my 13 year old Rhodesian Ridgeback was really sick. After X-rays she had a large tumor and I had to have her put down. Everyone there was so incredibly kind and really cared. A++++」
