「I can’t recommend Dr. Heidi at the Miami Beach Wellness Center for Pets enough! She cares for my three dogs with unmatched love and attention. After seeing many vets, Dr. Heidi’s exceptional care stands out. Julian at the front desk is just as wonderful. They even let me stay with my dog as she woke up from surgery, easing all my worries. From advanced treatments to genuine kindness, they go above and beyond. I’m deeply grateful for this amazing team!」

She takes the time to explain everything clearly and makes you feel confident that your pet is in the best hands. It’s rare to find a veterinary team that combines such high-level expertise with genuine warmth and care. 「I love this place!!!!! Heidi and her staff always take care of me. I was so scared to travel to the DR internationally w my little Karlito, but heidi and staff made it possible. The USDA is always changes the rules like constantly so its scary to travel internationally and scarier to come back but they got alllll my docs in order and kept answering my frequent worried questions」
「I've been taking my cat to Dr. Heidi Foster for a year now, and I couldn’t be happier with the care provided. The staff is always friendly and polite, and it’s clear they truly care about their patients. Scheduling an appointment is relatively easy, but what really impressed me was how they accommodated me on short notice when my cat had a suspected UTI. I’m so grateful to have found such a wonderful vet close by. Highly recommend!」
「The Worst Veterinary Experience in Miami Heidi is, in my opinion, one of the worst veterinarians in Miami. Do not go to this place for your pet’s international travel documents. I had been taking my dog to this veterinary clinic for almost six years for routine vaccinations and annual checkups. We usually went once a year, at most twice. In 2025, we decided to use this veterinary office to prepare the travel documents for my dog to leave the country and return to the United States. First, it took them an extremely long time to provide the USDA certificate required for international travel. I received it only one day before my trip. You can imagine how stressful that was, especially because I had to call almost every day asking about the certificate. On several occasions, I received a very rude attitude from the front desk because I kept calling for updates. But the most serious problem happened when we were preparing to return to the United States. At the airport in the country we were visiting, the authorities reviewed the documents issued by Dr. Heidi and told us that the U.S. re-entry certificate was missing. The health certificate was correct, but we were missing the document required for re-entry into the United States. I immediately called the veterinary office from the country we were in, and instead of helping me, I received an extremely rude response. Dr. Heidi raised her voice at me and told me that she was not going to send me the certificate because, according to her, I did not need it—even though the airport authorities were specifically asking for it. Can you imagine the anxiety of being in another country with your dog and being told that you are missing a required document to return home? After repeatedly trying to get help, they eventually stopped answering my calls. Thankfully, I was able to return to the United States with my dog after finding another way to resolve the situation. Obviously, after that experience, we changed veterinarians. This year, we are traveling internationally again. We decided to go to VCA because, although we knew it might be more expensive, we wanted to make sure everything was handled correctly and that we would not have to go through the same nightmare again. At VCA, they explained the entire process to me and told me that I should not have to pay for the certificates again because they are valid until my dog’s rabies vaccination expires. They only needed to update the health certificate. VCA even called Heidi’s office to request the existing documents. The receptionist refused to provide the documents, was aggressive with the VCA employee, and eventually hung up the phone. I was told that because I was no longer a patient there, they would not give me anything and that I had to pay for everything again. As a result, I had to redo the entire process with VCA. Thankfully, VCA completed everything in three days. I ended up paying around $200 total for both certificates, approximately $100 each—the health certificate and the U.S. re-entry certificate. Last year, Heidi charged me almost $400 for just one certificate, and when I was actually outside the country and needed help with my dog’s documents, she did absolutely nothing to help me. After almost six years as a client, this is how I was treated. I strongly recommend taking your pet somewhere else for international travel documentation. My experience with this office was extremely stressful, unnecessarily expensive, and completely unacceptable. The worst veterinary experience I have had in Miami.」
