The Animal Store Claimed

「Animal abuse and overpriced! These poor animals were kept in horrid conditions, even for temporary habitat. Their hermit crabs were in a bin with no substrate or climbing. They had at least three ball pythons together in a less than 20-gallon tank. The skink was in a similar-sized enclosure and was showing signs of severe stress. The veiled chameleon was black from stress. They were all seriously overpriced, asking $400 for a four-year-old standard bearded dragon who most certainly has severe health problems from the conditions he's been kept in. The rodents were in worse states and kept in crowded, filthy cages with less than an inch of bedding. The fish were dead and in filthy tanks. The workers saw nothing wrong with the abuse these animals were suffering. Don’t shop here. This place needs to be shut down and animals rescued.」

「Love this place! I stopped by to pet some rabbits but saw many cool animals, and I got to see the store mascot which was a tortoise! I will definitely come here in the future to purchase a pet! I also ended up leaving with a donut treat for my dog.」

「It took us 40 minutes to get there, but it was worth it. Great animal store with a variety of animals for pets! You can even pet the animals. We bought a hedgehog for our friend. The owner also told us we can call anytime with questions or for advice. Great place!」

「I've been here many times, just never left a review. They have just about any pet you can think of. Huge selection of items and fair prices. Much more than your PetSmart or Petco. I came in for isopods and leaf litter. Great deal on the Dairy Cow isopods! Definitely recommend coming here if you're in the area.」

「It is fun just to stop by sometimes and say hello to the animals. I have gotten one hedgehog (Oscar), one dwarf rabbit (Ramona), and two Richardson ground squirrels (Chip and Dale) from here so far. The hedgehog and the dwarf rabbit were/are great members of the family, and I assume the ground squirrels will be too! It has taken a couple of days, but they are already starting to explore their room and even take food (treats) from my hand. They are still skittish, but my nerves have waned greatly knowing that they are both eating and will get out of their hide.」
