AWS Animal Hospital – Animal Welfare Society of South Florida Claimed

「The Animal Welfare Society has been absolutely extraordinary for my dog, Eli, and for me. I originally found them while searching online for a veterinary clinic that was compassionate, practical, and willing to help us navigate a difficult situation. From the very beginning, their team was empathetic, thoughtful, and deeply committed to Eli’s care. When Eli was first seen for pink eye, they were attentive and thorough. When a growth on his skin became a concern, they helped initiate the next steps and guided me through the process of getting him the care he needed. Later, when he began showing signs of what seemed like a UTI—which turned out to be a very serious, life-threatening condition involving severe prostatitis—they once again went above and beyond for us. What stands out most about this team is not just their medical care, but their humanity. They took my concerns seriously, helped me navigate difficult decisions, were realistic with me when quality-of-life conversations had to happen, and celebrated with me when Eli pulled through. That combination of honesty, compassion, and dedication is incredibly rare. They are true lifesavers, and I genuinely do not have words strong enough to express how grateful I am for everything they have done. Special thanks to Dr. Carter, Dr. Davila, Herrmann, and Valeria. Your kindness, hard work, and heart mean more than I can say.」

「I was out of town when my 9 year old paralyzed Maltese had a urinary blockage. My dog’s acupuncture vet referred me to Dr. Carter at AWS. She was amazing and did the surgery to remove the bladder stones and clear his urethra. The price was extremely reasonable compared to the emergency vet. I am so thankful that she was able to fix his situation and communicate with me long distance. She has followed up with me several times and made sure everything was ok with Scout. I highly recommend AWS Animal Hospital.」

「Doctor Carter saved our Pedro’s life he had stones blocking his urinary path. They did an amazing job performing surgery with our dog immediately , Patricia was great with him too , they kept him him safe as my daughter went everyday to attend him we are so thankful that places like this exist, they helped in so many ways gave us hope when we thought we were going to have to put him down because of our finances, great work you guys you have an amazing team, thank you form the bottom of our hearts. See you soon」

「Took my female Siamese cat to AWS for an emergency, and everyone from the moment I walked in, made sure to care for her well being. From the kind young lady at the front desk, to the people directly dealing with her (Herman & Dr. Carter 🙏🏻) who literally saved her life, and continued to follow-up with me, to see how she was doing. If you love your pet as much as I do, these are the professionals you want to have on their side. May God bless the staff at AWS of SFL and all the glory to our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.」

「I don’t have enough words to express how grateful my family and I are to Dr. Andrew Kushnir and the entire team. We brought in a little stray cat that we cared for every day, never imagining how serious her condition was. From the beginning, Dr. Kushnir showed incredible compassion, empathy, and humanity. He went above and beyond for her and for our family, especially my daughters, keeping us updated and helping us through an incredibly difficult situation. Sadly, we lost our little girl, but we will always be grateful knowing that everything possible was done for her and that she was treated with so much care and dignity. Dr. Kushnir, thank you from the bottom of our hearts. Your kindness meant more to us than you will ever know. I would absolutely recommend Dr. Kushnir and this team to anyone looking for compassionate veterinary care.」
