From the beginning, we experienced troubling inconsistency in our dog’s diagnosis. The vet repeatedly made vague comments like “I always think I hear a murmur,” yet offered no clear diagnosis or plan. Just three months later, another veterinarian definitively diagnosed the murmur, highlighting the lack of clarity and confidence we experienced here. During a routine grooming, our youngest dog suffered a severe injury to her throat that required stitches. This was not a minor nick—it was a significant wound that should never happen under professional care. Beyond that, there has been a repeated pattern of disorganization and lack of accountability. We paid for a full-panel blood test, yet the clinic misplaced both the samples and the results multiple times. When our new veterinarian called to request those records just two months later, they were told the clinic had no record of them at all. This is unacceptable when it comes to basic medical record-keeping. We also experienced serious concerns around clinical judgment and attention to patient history. We were advised to schedule a dental cleaning for our dog who has a known heart murmur. After dropping her off, the vet called to suggest starting her on heart medication—medication she has already been on for three years and that is clearly documented in her chart. This indicates a complete lack of review of her medical history. To make matters worse, they performed and charged us for an additional x-ray to confirm a condition that had already been diagnosed and documented multiple times. Overall, this practice demonstrated a concerning combination of poor communication, disorganization, and lack of attention to detail—issues that directly impact the health and safety of our dogs. We cannot recommend this clinic and strongly encourage others to seek care from a provider that prioritizes thoroughness, accuracy, and patient safety.」
