「They offer a decent selection, with many birds and snakes available. While the enclosures appeared somewhat small, I understand this is likely due to the animals' temporary stay.
I asked if I could hold a rat, but the staff member shook his head, told me to wait a minute, and then attended to another customer. I decided to leave after that interaction. Definitely not white-friendly.
This is a neat little pet store. I visited during a trip from St. Louis for a meeting, stopping by before closing. They offer almost every small animal imaginable; it's the first pet store I've encountered that sells doves, which I found very interesting. My only complaint is that the building is already quite small, and they seem to cram as many animals into the space as humanly possible. It becomes so crowded and packed that it's difficult to walk around, especially during busy times, making it nearly impossible. The prices here are also more expensive than in St. Louis, which is disappointing. I've wanted ferrets again since mine passed away years ago; in St. Louis, they cost $400 each. I had hoped for a better price here, but no, they are $500 each, which I find ridiculous. Despite this, it's a pretty neat pet store with a wide variety of animals, reptiles, birds, and snakes.
I've been a customer here for years, initially for my in-laws' exotic pets and now for my own. David is consistently kind and incredibly helpful. I wanted to leave a positive review because, after reading some others, I wanted to assure future customers that this place is truly knowledgeable! They treat everyone with respect and readily share their extensive knowledge. The store can get quite busy at times, so if you're seeking detailed information or one-on-one time with an associate, I recommend coming with a bit of patience and understanding. They will provide the help and knowledge you need!
This is a great place for small animals; they truly know their business. There are many reptiles and small mammals to choose from. It's a great place! I acquired some small rats from them, and they make wonderful companions. Notably, two of the rats came pregnant, resulting in 24 bonus baby rats! It's been a lot of fun getting to know the different personalities of all the rats. It's been a great experience.
David was AMAZING! We brought my almost 5-year-old and some other children for his birthday, using it as a test to see if he could handle a pet. David was incredibly generous with his time and made the experience so easy. He truly has a passion for his animals, demonstrating extensive knowledge, enthusiasm, and the touch of a true pet whisperer. He was extremely patient with the children. David is more than just a pet owner running a small business; he is genuinely part of the community. I would wholeheartedly recommend David and his store to anyone! 10/10」

「This is a neat little pet store. I was traveling from St. Louis for a meeting and stopped by before they closed. They have just about every small animal and it’s the first pet store I’ve ever seen selling doves. Very interesting. My only complaint is is already kinda a small building but on top of that they cram as many animals into the space as humanly possible. It’s so crowded and crammed u can barely walk around. Especially if it’s busy. It’s basically impossible. The prices are also more expensive here than in St. Louis which is sad. I’ve been wanting ferrets again after mine died years ago but St. Louis they want $400 each. I was hoping here would have a better price but NOOOOO. It’s $500 each. So ridiculous. I wanted to drop a positive review because upon reading some others I wanted to assure future customers that this place knows their stuff! They treat EVERYONE with respect and give plenty of knowledge. They do tend to get a bit busy here and there, so if you want information or one on one time with an associate come with a bit of patience and understanding. 「Great place for small animals. They really know their business. Lots of reptiles and small mammals to choose from. Great place!! I got some small rats from them, and they are great little companions. 2 of the rats came with bonus rats inside. We ended up with 24 bonus baby rats!!! Lots of fun and we get to know the different personalities of the rats. It is a great experience.」
