Each of them helped me and taught me things abt the aquatic plant life that I needed for my dragonfly water bowl. 「We absolutely love coming here for the self-wash station! The stations are always very clean (they clean between each use), and they even recently started providing disposable ponchos for owners. I’m leaving 4 stars as a heads-up to other pet owners: after our last visit, our dog developed a skin rash called post-grooming furunculosis. Our vet explained this can sometimes be caused by using diluted shampoo, as bacteria can easily grow in those mixtures. We still love this place and will continue to visit, but I’d highly recommend that fellow owners just bring their own shampoo from home to be extra safe! Overall, this is our fave pet supply store to shop at – toys and treats are always reasonably and competitively priced!」
「The reptile section is disappointing 🙁 Please get your beardies in proper enclosures with the correct set ups. This is expected from mainstream pet stores, but Monster Pet is independent/family owned. They need flat basking surfaces, proper uvb (no, the coil bulbs are not sufficient), and WAY more space. Theres no way the temperatures are correct— they dont even have the temperature thermometers that they sell inside of the enclosures. The orange beardie pictured already appears to have early stages of MBD. The last picture is a poor crested gecko looking depressed and dead, such a sad and completely wrong enclosure. Please do better for the reptiles.」
