「Marylou was incredibly helpful and patient as we looked at the bunnies, and we ended up selecting the sweetest little lion head lop mix. My only complaint is that a "kit" for $40 is mandatory with a bunny purchase, which includes a large bag of bedding, two bags of food, and hay. Upon getting home, I discovered our bunny was severely matted underneath. I later learned online that lionheads don't require bedding due to their mane, as it can worsen matting. I wish the store would prioritize recommending what's truly best for the animal's quality care rather than pushing expensive, potentially unsuitable add-ons.」
「The manager was extremely rude and disrespectful, belittling my son for asking a genuine question. His repeated "Wow" as he walked away was completely unnecessary. New management is urgently needed. If you're looking for guidance before purchasing a pet, this is definitely not the right establishment.」
「Their selection of invertebrates and reptiles is very limited, despite being presented as if they offer a wide variety of species for sale. It's essentially just a glorified Petco/Petsmart with nothing exotic or catering to experienced hobbyists. If anything interesting *is* present, it's not for sale, forcing customers to travel to Chicago and other locations to find what they need. They're missing out on significant potential revenue; better management is required in that department.」
「Petland is one of our favorite places to visit, especially for saltwater fish and water changes. We also enjoy visiting the other animals. I particularly love being able to pet the bunnies and hamsters. The staff is always incredibly willing to help and never seems bothered. It's consistently a great experience visiting this store.」
